St. Mary Magdalene Church in Welwyn Garden City contacted us to look at updating their existing lighting installation. With numerous light fittings failing or missing altogether and lamps becoming obsolete and expensive to run, a future proof solution was desperately needed. The existing wiring was suitable to be re-used in certain areas and a new DALI controlled lighting system installed. The roof of the church has been illuminated, along with a huge increase in general lighting levels throughout. A selection of medium and narrow beam angle LED fittings were installed to provide general illumination as well as focussed illumination to important areas of the church.
In addition to the lighting, we carried out an EICR and subsequent remedial works which included replacing the outdated 3 phase distribution board within the Vestry and installing new socket outlets.
