With summer progressing and bringing us dry and hot weather, we continue to work hard and are being kept very busy. Just as well the weather has been the way it has as we completed exterior lighting work at St. Mary’s Church in Prittlewell and St. Andrew’s Church in Great Finborough, which is the final resting place of the late, great John Peel OBE. A brief hop over to St. Georges Church in Telford required us to replace the lighting within the Chancel and add dimmable controls to this area. We then began our latest large lighting installation at St. Margaret’s Church in Ipswich. We installed a complete new DALI controlled lighting system and carried out other electrical works which included running a new 3-phase supply to the organ and replacing the outdated 3-phase distribution board supplying the rest of the installation. The project completed on time and NICEIC certification has been issued. Onto our next project at All Saints’ Church, Leighton Buzzard carrying out a full EICR, and then St. Matthew’s Church, Worthing to replace and upgrade the existing lighting!
