All Saints, Marlow

Prominently sited next to the river Thames adjacent to Marlow’s noted suspension bridge, the Grade II* listed All Saints church in Marlow required some updating of the exterior illumination. CLS were asked to provide a cost effective energy saving solution to replace the 11 existing 250w sodium discharge floodlights that illuminated the exterior of the church with a more energy efficient LED replacement fittings. We sourced a suitable replacement LED floodlight, matching the light output of the sodium fittings, but more than halving the power consumption. Existing wiring and controls were tested and found to be suitable to be used with the new fittings so no additional cost was incurred replacing these. The results speak for themselves, and to finish, the team returned in the hours of darkness to position the new light fittings to provide optimal illumination to the exterior of this magnificent church.
