Scope of Work

CLS Electrical Services was tasked with the design, supply, and installation of a new DALI-controlled lighting system, covering:

• General Illumination for the worship space

• Stage Lighting with dynamic control and colour flexibility

• Feature Lighting to highlight architectural elements, including the roof

Technical Solution

The lighting solution centred around the installation of a DALI dimmable Mode eDin control system, offering sophisticated lighting management across multiple zones. Key components included:

• Illuma DALI Prospot fittings: Installed throughout the main worship area, these fittings provide efficient, high-quality general illumination with precision control.

• LEDJ Performer RGBW fittings: Positioned in the stage area, these fixtures offer full-colour mixing and dimming capabilities, ideal for creating engaging lighting scenes during performances, services, and presentations.

• Feature Lighting for the Roof: Tailored lighting elements were used to highlight the church’s roof structure, adding architectural depth and ambience to the space.

Control and Flexibility

The installed Mode eDin system enables comprehensive scene control through DALI protocol, allowing presets for:

• Worship services

• Musical performances

• Special services and seasonal events

• Low-level ambient scenes for quiet prayer or reflection

Lighting scenes can be easily adjusted by church staff using intuitive wall-mounted keypads or control interfaces, ensuring flexibility for any event type.
