As we head towards the end of another month, the team have been working hard on our latest projects. With our latest lighting projects at Bunyan Meeting in Bedford and Cromer Parish Church in Norfolk now complete and the case studies online, we now concentrate on our next few projects.
We begin work at St. Michael’s Church, St. Albans carrying out repair work to the existing electrical installation and replacing outdated cables and distribution equipment. Work in Betley, Staffordshire commences this week installing exterior lighting and we begin to prepare for our next internal lighting installation at St. Paul’s Church, Langleybury which begins at the beginning of August.

With Summer well underway and several large projects completing in the first half of 2021, CLS Electrical Services LTD are looking strong and the team are being kept busy.
Our latest lighting project at Bunyan meeting church in the heart of Bedford has begun, with a new lighting system being installed throughout.
All Saints’ Parish Church in Melbourn is now complete and other projects including Carclo Technical Plastics, Mitcham, St. Oswalds Church in Coventry and All Saint’s Church in Leighton Buzzard have begun.
July sees us carrying out replacement external lighting works at Cromer Parish Church on the North Norfolk Coast and we make a return to St. Margaret’s Church in Betley to install external lighting to the East Elevation and War Memorial Window.

As winter fast approaches we are being kept busy here at CLS. With a new electrical installation project commencing at Carclo technical plastics and confirmation of a further two church lighting installations, the diaries are now booked well into 2021!
At Carclo technical plastics, we are to provide new electrical supplies to industrial machinery as well as 120+ light fittings which are to be installed within a specialist environment. New panel boards shall be installed along with smaller distribution equipment and small power.

We have recently completed one of our latest projects at St. Andrew’s Church, South Warnborough for the installation of new external lighting which completed at the beginning of October. This included the installation of 8 new wooden lighting posts along the existing pathway as well as upgrading the existing external light fittings that illuminate the North and West elevations of the church. Working alongside our clients, we have provided all necessary paperwork and information required to obtain permission to carry out these works.

Four of our recent contracts to install replacement lighting systems have been successfully completed. Hockliffe Street Baptist Church in Leighton Buzzard initially invited us to provide a new lighting design to replace their existing lighting, which has progressed to commissioning us to carry out the full installation work. These works completed in July 2020. We have also completed our electrical work at St. Mary’s Church, Funtington which included a new lighting system, replacement distribution equipment, external lighting work and socket installations. Over the last few months, we worked alongside St John the Divine church in Coventry along with their architect to design, produce and install a suitable lighting design which would greatly increase illumination levels throughout the worship areas. Installation work started in the middle of July and were completed at the beginning of August. With the handover complete, everybody can now enjoy the church in a new light! Our latest completed projected ended mid September at St Margaret’s Church, Betley. With a newly installed lighting system designed by us and new distribution equipment, the church is now ready for continued use with improved lighting levels and an up-to-date electrical installation.
