2023 Update

It’s been a while since we have posted an update, both on here and our facebook page. Since November 2022, we had a number of projects that had to be completed by Christmas which meant we were rather busy up until the Christmas break. Coming into the new year, we have been overwhelmed by the number of projects wanting to start which has meant team CLS have been very busy from the start. We are working tirelessly to arrange projects that both meet the clients required finish date as well as providing the level of detail and professionalism we pride ourselves on. So far, we have begun new projects at All Saints’ C of E Church in Willian, where a complete re-wire is required. New distribution equipment shall be installed along with small power, heating and lighting. In addition to this, we have begun work on a new lighting system and small power installation at St. Martin’s Church, Cambridge. We have allowed a gap in our diary to install new lighting at St. Peter’s Church in Tewin. All in all, a positive start to 2023 and we look forward to working with some more amazing customers!

A busy summer continues!

With summer progressing and bringing us dry and hot weather, we continue to work hard and are being kept very busy. Just as well the weather has been the way it has as we completed exterior lighting work at St. Mary’s Church in Prittlewell and St. Andrew’s Church in Great Finborough, which is the final resting place of the late, great John Peel OBE. A brief hop over to St. Georges Church in Telford required us to replace the lighting within the Chancel and add dimmable controls to this area. We then began our latest large lighting installation at St. Margaret’s Church in Ipswich. We installed a complete new DALI controlled lighting system and carried out other electrical works which included running a new 3-phase supply to the organ and replacing the outdated 3-phase distribution board supplying the rest of the installation. The project completed on time and NICEIC certification has been issued. Onto our next project at All Saints’ Church, Leighton Buzzard carrying out a full EICR, and then St. Matthew’s Church, Worthing to replace and upgrade the existing lighting!

Spring 2022

As we head towards the middle of 2022, we have just completed our latest lighting project at St. Lawrence Church, Bradwell Village. The team are off to Southend next week, replacing the external lighting at St. Mary’s Church in  Prittlewell. We shall then be off to Ipswich, installing new external lighting at St. Andrew’s Church in Great Finborough.
